disappointment

This morning Corbin was tired and didn't want to go to school (daycare)"no school" he suggested many alternatives: "watch movie" at home "Grandmas house" once we were in the car.

When we pulled up outside the school he thought he saw his friend Abby (who does not go to his school) he quickly perked up and said "Abby school". I wasn't thinking and thought it was a different Abby, so I agreed.

After I got him out of the car, the girl turned around, and Corbin realized it wasn't his friend. He got a real sad look on his face, muttered so something about "no Abby" and reluctantly went into the building.
