Yesterday, Corbin spent the afternoon pushing around his monkey in a pink stroller, but today he got to do some manly things. Grandma's next door neighbor was doing some planting and he had a digger! Corbin got to go for a ride. Of course he didn't want to go inside. He could have watched the digger all day long. Unfortunately, I didn't have a memory card in the camera at the time, so I took a couple of pictures with the internal camera memory. I will have to post the digger pictures when James gets here. Sorry. Anyway, Corbin was so tired, he ended up falling asleep at the dinner table, animal cookie in-hand.
Today Grandma and Grandpap took all their grandkids to Valley Worlds of Fun in Fairmont, West Virginia. Inside there are games, a midway with rides, laser tag and more. Outside there are more rides, including the favorite bumper boats. We all had fun today, but are very tired. In the picture below, Corbin stands with Grandma in front of the train mural.
We started the day inside playing games. Corbin got to drive a big rig...or at least pretend to. After he got down, he stumbled upon the indoor midway. We had the bumper cars and the entire midway to ourselves. Naturally, Corbin had to try out every car.
We all had a blast on the bumper boats. Corbin didn't want to go on them at first, but then I said I was going on them by myself. he decided he would tag along. He had a lot of fun squirting people and trying to steer the boat.
After riding the bumper boats, a thunderstorm rolled in so we went back inside to the midway. We didn't have it all to ourselves this time, but we did manage to ride the teacups four times at Corbin's request without needing to get off and wait in line. I think he would have ridden the teacups all day long.
Corbin was very excited to be taking the train to Grandma's house. The excitement wore off around midnight when he finally fell asleep. He woke up in the middle of the night scared so I had to go and try to sleep on the bottom bunk with him....which was a tight squeeze considering the beds are bit smaller than the average twin bed.
